Iglesia Bautista El Faro was founded in the spring of 2005 with the mission of evangelizing the lost of El Progreso, Honduras and establishing a solid community of believers after the pattern of the New Testament and faithful to the Word of God that will then mobilize missionaries and church planters to fulfill the Great Commission. The church has ordained one pastor for a church plant in Santa Barbara, Honduras and financially supports 20 missionaries and missionary projects by faith promise.
